SHARING A PASSION
FOR HELPING OTHERS

Mod Squad was started by
Melissa Ann Barton to create
quality goods that give back.

Christened “Mod Squad Martha” by a musician smitten with her many talents, her effortless style embodies timeless with a twist of hip. Melissa Ann Barton’s path to founding Mod Squad has included careers in film production, interior design, retail, and catering, with a few late night waitressing jobs and bartending gigs in smoky honkytonks thrown in. Along this winding path, a common thread of faith, family, creativity an roll-up-your-sleeves hard work has helped establish her as a woman to watch and Music City insider.

“In my world, work, family,
faith and fun go hand in hand.”

- MELISSA ANN BARTON

MELISSA ANN & EMMYLOU

A bond that started over serving meals has lead to a bond that serves others.

Melissa Ann and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris’ bond formed over years of meals lovingly prepared and served to Emmylou’s family, close friends and her momma. “Emmy and I share the love of family, friends, dogs and empathy for those in need. Emmy motivates me to be just a little bit better.” It’s this bond that lead to Emmylou and Melissa Ann teaming up in order to give back to Bonaparte’s Retreat and Crossroads Campus in Nashville through the Mod Squad brand.
